Stage one (from April 2020 till September 2020.) – the overall technological challenges for technology development for reaching the consumer market were defined. The overall weak and strong sides of the technology were analysed. The overall compatitive advantages were outlined comparing the platform with other digital and analogue training solutions (including, but not limited to, effectiveness, usability and adaptability compatibility with other technologies, impact on environment, energy consumption, security). The versatility of use of technology has been evaluated based on the possibility to use it in other fields and necessary time required for tailoring. Whilst evaluating the plausible size of the market the specific legal requirements and socioeconomic as well as geographical obstacles were taken into account (for instance need to relocate the training facilities or to fly-in employyees from different company branches can be CO2 intensive), therefore the calculations were based on prospective plasuible markets. It has been evaluated whether it would be possible to ‘consume’ the developed technology in the given market conditions and processes (analysis of compatibility of the platform with the existing technologies and proceses).

Stage two (01.01.2021 – currently) during the course second stage a versatile safety training platform for the use in the construction industry scaffolding has been created. The platform employs VR solutions and 3D content with the aim of improving the worker safety training quality and training results. The product has been developed based on the work and scientific know-how by Dr.sc.ing. Arnis Cīrulis, whilst meeting the market demand when creating the product prototype.
